![]() ![]() She later slips a video message to Bob Parr on his last day at Insuricare, spinning a story of needing superhero help with a government project gone wrong and promising to pay him to triple his annual salary at Insuricare, which he opens that night after he is fired by Gilbert Huph. Incredible, given Syndrome's hatred of the latter. Incredible, Mirage recommends to Syndrome that they put Frozone on hold and instead target Mr. She had been conducting surveillance on Frozone for some time in an attempt to make him Syndrome's next murder victim, however, when she spots Frozone with his good friend Mr. She is Syndrome's seductive right-hand woman, who aided him in the murder of Gazerbeam and many other superheroes during Operation Kronos. "Mirage" is a pseudonym, her real name is currently unknown. She sometimes wears earrings and also wears high-heeled black shoes. She has a penchant for expensive clothes. Mirage is an attractive, beautiful and tall tan-skinned young woman with mid-back length platinum-blonde hair that has bangs swept to the left side, green eyes, and a very slim body. Incredible threatened to kill her and then mocked the man whose family he thought he had killed by calling him weak. However, she does have some honor, as she was clearly ill at ease with Syndrome opening fire on Elastigirl's plane when they learned children were aboard, and all loyalties faded when Syndrome expressed no concern for her life when Mr. Unlike Syndrome, however, she has standards for how far she is willing to go for it.Īt first, Mirage respected Syndrome as her leader and her presumed lover, sharing in his taste for calculation and betrayal and willingly drawing supers to their deaths to near the point where they could release the Omnidroid for its rampage. Random thought, does Mirage actually have a real name?Īlthough given her background in espionage, she would have made sure to destroy all physical records relating to her past and delete the digital ones from computers.Mirage is a calm and decisive femme fatale who thrives on wealth and power. It would also be funny to explore the conflict that MrsI has to live with someone she doesn't like because they need her help. Mr Incredible: Be nice to Aunty Mirage and don't set her room on fire *beat* again. I'm assuming she'd be more active if the team needs backup, given her combat skills.Īnd given that evil villians would want to try and kidnap a superbaby, it'd make sense to have a nanny who could double as a bodyguard. Or possibly living with them, pretending to be a live-in nanny for her cover story (I'm assuming Mirage has to keep her identity secret too).Īnd that might be practical, since someone has to look after Jack while the rest of them are out saving the world. I always imagined she'd be like Wade from Kim Possible, running a computer operations center from their new hideout. My speculation is that once her employer was terminated (literally!), the Incredibles would have to take responsibility for the fact they just cost her a job, even if she was working for an evil mastermind. Mrs Incredible still has Mirage issues though, as they spend a lot of the comic bickering with each other over minor problems. In the comics, she went freelance, working as a spy for Rick Dicker. Heck, I would have liked to see Mirage working undercover at the track meet, perhaps making sure that Dash came in second.ĬaptainJZH Ant Posts: 24 Joined: Wed 4:39 am Location: The Planet Earth, Or Something Vaguely Resembling It RICK: You just leave that to Politicians for now. She might make a good agent on our side.īOB: Does all of this mean we'll be coming out of hiding? Could you get her a reduced sentence or something? ![]() She gave us access to the rocket that got us here in time. Are there any that helped you out that you'd like to vouch for?īOB: Well, there is one. If he even sneezes, we'll be there with a hankie and a pair of handcuffs.īOB: You mean you've apprehended all of his accomplices? RICK: We've frozen all of Syndrome's assets. Perhaps when in the limo, there could have been a conversation like this: While I'm glad that the comics have done so, I wish the movie would have finished up her story a little more.
